A new Ugandan coach has announced Joackiam Ojera in the squad

Joackiam Ojera, a player from Rayon Sports, is on the shortlist of players selected from Uganda with the aim of making it to the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Despite his recent good performances at Rayon Sports, he wasn’t recognized by the former coach Milutin Sredojevic. However, the new Ugandan coach, Paul Put, has shown great interest in Joackiam Ojera, who is highly regarded by Rayon Sports fans due to his exceptional skills.

The Ugandan national team is preparing for two upcoming matches against Guinea and Somalia.

Even though he has been recognized, Ojera must work hard to secure a spot in the final list, as the initial 36 players need to be narrowed down to 23.

Furthermore, his recognition among the talented players is a sign that he has significant potential, and the coach expects him to put in a lot of effort.
